These policies were valid for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. As no new policies have been issued since 20 August 2003 , all policies have now expired.

If you are the holder of one of these policies and were unable to obtain a replacement product under the terms of the policy you are entitled to make a claim in the liquidation.

If you made your original payment using a credit card or a finance agreement then you may be entitled to make a claim from the original issuer/provider of your credit card or finance company under the terms of the Consumer Credit Act. Contact details are normally provided on your monthly statements.

If your payment is refunded in full by the original issuer/provider of your credit card or finance company you will no longer have a claim against the company. You should be aware that the original issuer/provider of your credit card or finance company is entitled to make a claim in the liquidation in respect of any payment maded to you under the terms of the Consumer Credit Act.

If your claim is admitted in the liquidation then, based on present information, I anticipate you will receive a dividend although it is clear that the dividend will be a very small proportion of the value of your claim. In addition, due to the complexities of the case, it is likely to be some considerable time before any payment will be made.
